NYC has mastered the “boozy brunch.” With all the unlimited drink deals paired with fantastic food, you will find almost every twenty-something participating in this ritual on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
Drinking cheap (and in abundance) at brunch is easy. The hard part is picking the right spot to overindulge – there are just so many options!
After several years spent boozy brunchin’ with friends, we have tried almost every single genre: the club brunch, the bloody mary bar brunch, the champagne brunch, the sushi brunch, the all you can drink + all you can eat brunch (woah) and many more!
With the unusually warm weather this past Saturday, we decided to walk to the West Village for a Mexican & Spanish fusion brunch. The sunshine had us feeling cheerful as we took a window table for some prime people watching, decadent bites and cold drinks .
Tio Pepe’s brunch menu has a ton of great options, but definitely do NOT leave without trying the Coca – Spanish flat bread with caramelized onions, goat cheese, bacon and eggs! We could eat this every day. It was literally THAT good. The brunch entrees are tapas style, so we suggest getting a few items and sharing.
Per usual we were craving frozen margaritas, but if you really want to get the biggest bang for your buck, you can opt for the 2-hour unlimited Bloody Marys or Mimosas for $10.
