Honestly, New Yorkers have the whole workout thing figured out. Yoga Vida, Soul Cycle, boxing classes…there is really any workout you can imagine. However, there is one workout idea I am particularly fond of that I experienced last week.
At Structure Personal Fitness, they held an event with @Manhattanwithatwist and hosted a Buns, Beer, and BBQ workout…honestly, what idea could be better?
The 20-minute glute workout was followed by Brother Jimmy’s, mingling, and beer pong…yes, I said it, beer pong. It was so much fun and seeing workout instructors indulging in those calories really makes you feel better about yourself. I mean honestly, we can’t be healthy & perfect & fit every second of every day…I would go crazy.
The key is doing the workout before, because then you don’t feel that bad about the pulled pork and mac n cheese…YUM. But, in all honesty, you have to reward yourself after a hard workout or else you will crave everything in sight. This specific studio is definitely a place to go if you are looking to get fit because they do PERSONAL training! They have small classes (fun) and workouts that work best for YOU.
