As the season changes (finally!) it’s time for us to switch up the beauty routine. This means swapping the gothic lipstick for a pretty pink pout, ditching dark polish in favor of pastels and lightening up the locks. A natural brunette, Steph decided to take a leap of faith this spring and go for the bronde look. Adding some heavy balayage highlights is a great way to get that sun-kissed look without bringing the color all the way to the root – meaning less maintenance! we like it because it’s less harsh than ombre and you can avoid the orange and yellow tones (thank goodness!)
After Steph’s hair appointment we stopped into one of our favorite spots in flatiron – eataly! We opted for le verdure and ordered the freshest, most delicious appetizers – the bruschetta special with radishes, snap peas and a spicy cream sauce and the scarpetta. We were still a little hungry so we split the housemade cannelloni. on the way home we stopped in Madison Square Park for some photo opps!
