Who says you can’t have chocolate for breakfast?
My readers have been requesting this recipe non-stop, and now you can make it in your own home! It’s PACKED with nutrients, protein and natural sugars. This recipe I made up one morning entirely and am certainly am proud of how it turned out. I used a Belgian waffle maker :D.
This recipe makes one big Belgian waffle!
2 T Chickpea flour
2 T Almond flour
1 scoop Chocolate Vega protein powder
1/2 teas Red maca (The Maca team)
1/4 teas aluminum free baking powder
1/2 teas Cocoa powder
1/4 teas Vanilla extract
Couple dashes of cinnamon
1 T coconut oil
1T coconut sugar
3 T milk of choice (I used soy milk creamer)
I mixed the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients separately and then combined. Grease the waffle maker and in 4 min its done! So easy. The Vega chocolate protein powder is what really makes this waffle thick, candy and sweet. Gosh it’s good. And plant based. I found mine at Whole foods.
