One of my favorite things about fall/winter are all the apple-related foods. Apple pie, apple cider, and then really just apple-pie-flavored everything and anything. I’ve been throwing this apple pie bowl together at all hours of the day—it’s perfect for breakfast, but equally as good as a dessert.
The star of the show here brings the ‘pie’ part to the bowl: this Paleo Passion Foods maple cinnamon grainless granola. It delivers the perfect amount of crunch and sweetness, and the flavor just screams fall. Plus, it’s paleo and there’s only 4g of sugar per serving in it! I highly suggest trying it if you haven’t already. Use the code PPP15 for 15% off and free shipping on www.paleopassionfood.com (not sponsored!)
I made an apple pie yogurt bowl here, but these toppings could really apply to any other bowl base (fresh hot oatmeal, quinoa, overnight oats, etc).
1 cup Dahlicious lassi (love this yogurt drink, but again, you can use any base you want)
½ apple (any kind, honeycrisp is my favorite), chopped
Nut butter(s) of your choice (I used a both peanut and almond butter)
Other optional, suggested toppings:
Squeeze of lemon (toss your chopped apples with lemon for extra yumminess!)
Assemble in order- base, toppings, and any optional toppings. That’s all! I only make easy things ;).
