Most of us take summer vacations for granted but sometimes life gets in the way – you wake up, it’s Labor Day and you realize it’s been six months since your last getaway. If you can’t take a full vacation this summer, spending a couple nights at a NYC hotel can be just as relaxing and good for your mental health. And since you’re saving on airfare spa treatments, room service and suite upgrades are all fair game. Here are some of our favorites:
If you’re in need on an ultra-luxe pampering weekend, this is the place to go. The brand new hotel has a gorgeous spa with ridiculously indulgent (aka completely necessary) treatments including a Chardonnay body ritual. Plus, there’s nothing cozier than a Four Seasons robe.
Rooms with balconies feel extra special and every.single.room at The William Vale has one. The rooftop pool is the perfect place to lounge and don’t miss the juicy cheeseburgers from the adorable airstream, Mister Dips.
The High Line is one of our favorite parts of NYC and staying at The High Line Hotel means you never have to leave. Their garden is #patiogoals and after a couple frozen negronis you’ll be really happy you can just walk (ok fine, stumble) up to your bed, which might actually be the comfiest bed in NYC.
A trip to Hoboken lets you truly escape NYC in about 15 minutes. Sip on a Dr. Feel Good cocktail at the W’s restaurant, Halifax or walk along the water up to Hoboken’s famous Pier 13. There are a ton of BYO brunch spots so be sure to encourage friends to come with you to fully take advantage.
A new hotel in Manhattan that has at it all. A bed with a view, free morning rooftop yoga with Skyting Yoga, giant beds on the rooftop for lounging, and a bar with a 360-view of the city that makes you feel as if you are floating.
